Paul’s Exasperation Spills Over
Text: 2 Corinthians 11: 21b-33
Reflection and Question: There has been dissent and division in the church Paul founded in Corinth and he is speaking here to those who find him weak with a good dose of irony in this list of the dangers he has faced in his ministry. His point is that he, Paul, is irrelevant; it is the strength and power of God known in Christ that matters. Can you look beyond the irrelevant and focus on the strong moving of God in your life?
Prayer: Holy Spirit, so shine in our hearts that we may look beyond our simply human capacities. Help us to see the power of your constant presence and power in both the special challenges we face and the daily routines of our days. Amen.
